Hiking Holidays in Zell am See-Kaprun
In Hohe Tauern National Park, you will find hiking tours with a full range of difficulty. Avid alpinists as well as guests simply looking for a leisurely stroll will all find the route that's perfect for them. On our local mountains - the Schmittenhöhe, Maiskogel and Kitzsteinhorn - you can either make your way up yourself, or enjoy the comfort and convenience of riding the gondola lift to the top.
Cycling in Zell am See-Kaprun
The extensive network of bike paths in the Hohe Tauern National Park Holiday Region is ideal for everyone looking to enjoy their holidays at a more leisurely pace. Downhill fans, on the other hand, can take their bike with them on the gondola up the Maiskogel and then enjoy an exciting ride back down to the valley. There's also a bike park with drops, kickers and a pump track. On the Kitzsteinhorn you will find three freeride trails for mountain bikers totaling 16 km in length.
Summit World 3000
The lookout platforms on the Kitzsteinhorn at 3000 m above sea level provide unique views of the region. From here, you can also gaze in awe at the Grossglockner, Austria's tallest mountain. Yet another highlight of Summit World is the National Park Gallery - here, six info stations teach you all kinds of fascinating facts about the mountains, nature and technology.
